I'll share insight as to why your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2017 product number isn't recognized.
You can log in to the CAMPS page to check your subscription status. Another thing to note, the 2017 version of QBDT has been discontinued since May 31, 2020.

I have Premier 2018 and have the same problem. Is there a new product number I should use? Or is there somewhere else that I can download this legacy software. My support should be good thru Sep 2021.

The product number you'll be using when installing QuickBooks is the one associated with it during the purchase. You're unable to use a new one. Though, there are different ways to know your product information.
On the other, you can visit the Customer Account Management Portal Site (CAMPS). It allows you to view your license and product information in the Product and Services section. I'll guide you how:
Once you already have the needed information, you can now start installing the software.
