Hello Klayman. The option to remove a vehicle in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is currently unavailable. This feature is essential for managing your primary vehicle and ensuring that your historical tax data remains protected.
As a workaround, instead of removing the vehicle, you can make it inactive by adding a new dummy vehicle to designate as the primary vehicle. Here's how:
- In the Gear icon, select Vehicle Info.
- Under the Manage vehicles tab, select Add vehicle.
- Enter your vehicle's info and select how you want to record your mileage for the year in the Tax info section.
- Hit Save when done.
Next, follow the steps on how to assign a primary vehicle.
Once you have assigned the dummy vehicle as the primary vehicle, you can then make your original vehicle inactive.
