How do I stop the Windows QuickBooks Online App from only opening full screen?

I have tried every suggestion on how to assure that the QB Windows app only opens in a manageable size. Every time I open the app it maximizes to full window. After resizing the window down, the contents within the app do not change format. This forces me to have to slide side to side within the app to function. This is not acceptable. I work with an UltraWide monitor to give me more room with flexibility to be more productive. This issues is destroying that. Honestly, I do not understand why this is even an issue to experience. No other productivity software I have ever run on my PCs have had this issue. Important points to consider before responding: Yes, I have followed all suggested QB, Windows and App settings to prevent this. I have followed advice from countless AI searches and forums as well. This is enough of an annoyance to dump QB all together.
