Pop-up banners you're seeing are marketing prompts like QuickBooks Payments, Live Bookkeeping and etc. They are designed with certain advantages that could benefit users such as updated features within QuickBooks and many more.
Currently, there is no built-in setting in QuickBooks to permanently disable these banners. For now, you can manually close the ads by clicking on the dismiss button or an 'X' to close the banner.
