How do I use the Ebay connector app for Payouts only? I don't use QB for inventory or individual transactions. I just want to classify each payout by sales/fees.

I recognize your goal of keeping things simple by using the eBay Connector app for tracking, @baitinator. Let's configure the app to ensure that payouts exclusively flow to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

During the process, you’ll want to enable the Payout Creation Workflow. These settings allow the Connector app to automatically generate deposits in QBO or the payouts sent to your account by eBay.

To maintain accurate data, I recommend disabling workflows for invoice, product, and inventory creation, as this doubles up your reported revenue if not set up correctly.

You might also have to re-authenticate eBay and grant access to Payouts if this is your first time enabling this workflow.

Next, you'll be asked to fill in the Into Bank Account field, which specifies where the payouts will be recorded. Ensure that you either select a current asset or a bank account.

Once done, you can now sync your data with QuickBooks. For more information, refer to this resource: eBay and QBO Integration Guide.

It forces you to do the settings for sales, invoices, and inventory. There is no toggle off switch or checkbox in the integration settings or during setup. It has changed recently for some reason.

Were you able to resolve this? I also account for eBay in that exact same way.

It was working perfectly for years in that way.

No, I have not found a solution.  Something seems to have changed with the connection software. I wish Ebay could just align their reports & statements with payouts instead of monthly statements. I had to go back to the old way of downloading the payout spreadsheet from ebay and adding up the columns.
