Join nowHow do I zoom in on my quickbooks desktop 2022 so the font isn't so small?
Greetings, @KTSP.
Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. I'd be more than happy to give you some information on zooming in on your QuickBooks Desktop account so the font isn't small.
All you need to do is use your computer keyboard to zoom in. Press the keys listed below:
It's that easy!
This should do the trick. Feel free to come back if you have any other problems. Take care!
I'm assuming you have a High Resolution monitor, so you need to change the settings.
Close QBD and then Right Click on the QB Icon. Click on Preferences and then Compatibility and Check the Disable fullscreen optimization. Pending you're computer you may need to Restart, so I'd go ahead and do it anyway.
Regretfully QBs still hasn't fixed their display for high DPI monitors, so this will help, but it still may not be as good as you'd like it to be.
Let us know if that helps. If not there are some other things to try, but not changes you want to make if you don't have to.
That doesn't work on desktop

Had to reinstall Windows on my PC today and it also reinstalled my QB, so I lost my display preferences.
Followed all the steps and all this does in Desktop 23.0 is increase the size of the window, NOT the size of the font/zoom within the window. And selecting 'One Window' prevents me from having Customer window and Vendor window open at the same time. So I've changed it back to Multiple Windows so I can keep working in the way I want, but I'll have to move my monitor closer so I can see what I'm doing.
Changing the display/zoom in QB should NOT require so many steps. if I was in a web browser, all I would have to do it go to the ellipses and pick the zoom I want.
I was also having trouble reading reports in Quickbooks desktop. I solved the problem by right-clicking in the margins of the report, which opens a "font" window. I increased the font size in order to read the report. Make sure to select a "font style" as well.
From what I can tell, there is no zoom function in QB desktop. Condolences to everyone who has attempted to rely on QB support staff for answers.
