How in the world can I cancel an account?  Intuit makes it almost impossible

How in the world can I cancel account?

Thanks for coming to the Community for your concern. I understand the need to cancel your subscription. 

 

To do this, please ensure to sign in as an admin user from a web browser to cancel the service. Then, follow these steps below: 

 

  1. Go to the Settings menu, then select Account and Settings.
  2. Select Billing & Subscription.
  3. Click Cancel your trial if you're still on a trial, or select Cancel subscription if you are a regular subscriber. 
  4. Select Continue to cancel, then follow the steps on the screen.
  5. Click Submit and cancel subscription, then select Got it.

 

Once done, you'll receive an email confirmation of your canceled subscription.

 

If you've subscribed through the mobile apps, you'll want to cancel your subscription directly through the apps store( iTunes or Google Play). However, if your account is suspended, you'll need to resubscribe before you can cancel. Otherwise, it will be canceled automatically after three failed attempts to charge your payment method.

 

For future reference, QuickBooks will only keep your data for a year and you won't have access to your previous data if you resubscribed after that period. I'd recommend printing your forms and reports
