How to change payment method to Quickbook

It's nice to see you here in the Community, @venus2elva.

I can help walk you through changing your payment method in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Just to confirm, are you referring to your payment method for your QuickBooks subscription? If so, please note that only a Master Administrator or Company Administrator user can update/change payment information for your account.

Here's how:

1. Log into your QBO account.
2. Click the Gear icon at the top and pick Accounts and Settings under Your Company column.
3. Select the Billing & Subscription tab, then under Payment method, click Edit.
4. Enter the necessary information, then Save Changes.

As a reference, you can also check out this article for further guidance: Update your credit card information.

That'll do it! Please let me know how it goes by leaving a comment. I'm only a post away should you have any additional questions or concerns. Take care and have a great weekend.

How to change payment method to Quickbook

I don't have the billing and Subscriptions tab.

So how do I change my payment to use a CC instead of my itunes account?

Right now it is charged to the same card as my Itunes.

How to change payment method to Quickbook

Hello there, jjreed212.

The Billing & Subscription tab is always visible no matter what type of user you are. Since it's not in your tabs, we can do some basic cache troubleshooting. There are instances that these cache can cause some browser issue.

You can start by using a private or incognito window. To use it:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If it works, you can go back to your main browser and clear its cache. Yet, if both of these will not work, you can use a different browser like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer.

Let me know how these troubleshooting works on your end. Have a good one!

Thanks for joining us today, @PSC2.

I'll share the steps on how to change your payment method in QBO. Let's open your account via a private-browser or an incognito window. This browsing doesn’t store data and will help the page load without issues from temporary data.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox).
  • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari).

After that, log in as the Master or Company Admin. Then, go back and change your payment method again.

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then select Account and Settings.
  2. From the left menu, choose Billing Subscription.
  3. Tap Edit ✎ beside your payment method, and then update your credit card info.
  4. Make sure the address in QuickBooks is the same as the one on your credit card statement.
  5. Once everything’s good, click Confirm card or Save.

For more information, check out this guide: Update the payment info for your QuickBooks Online subscription.

If you're able to update, it’s a good idea to clear the cache to start on a clean slate. This process helps the browser to fetch the latest version of the webpage and faster browsing experience.

In case you need help with other QBO tasks, browse this link here and select a topic that suits your needs.

Keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns. I'm always here to assist you. Take care and happy holidays.
