How to import excel file onto quickbook using 3rd party app(like Zed Axis) connected via Remote desktop app
Hi, I am developer for ,my client. Client is using multiuser Quickbooks Desktop which is logged in using Remote desktop app. He has another application from which he needs to import exce. We tried Zed axis however that works only when Quickbook and Zed axis are on same PC. As informed quickbook is on remote desktop, to which getting access is nerly impossible. So i was wondering if there is any alternate way to do the same.
Evven though I use API still it needs to be on same PC, if I am not wrong So please guide. Thanks

We appreciate you doing a workaround to import the file, kevin10matt.
When importing file from a remote Desktop app, the MS Office Excel must be installed on where QuickBooks is located. In this case, it would be best for your client to contact their hosting service provider. From there, they can request to set up Excel in a remote-access setting.
Their hosting provider can also provide more details with regards to importing data in QuickBooks on a network environment using Zed Axis.
