How to merge my Quickbooks Online Account with my QuickBooks Accountant account?

Hello,

I have a subscription to QBO and a month ago I started a class on bookkeeping which required me to set up a QBO Accountant account.  I created the QBOA account and I added my QBO account as a client.  How do I merge the two accounts?  I tried separating the QBO and the QBOA with separate passwords but it won't let me separate the accounts... so how do I fix all of that?

Thank you

Re: How to merge my Quickbooks Online Account with my QuickBooks Accountant account?

Hello S-Renee,

The option to merge the data of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) with QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) account is unavailable. There are features on the accountant subscription that is not applicable on the regular QuickBooks plan.

On the other hand, you can merge these accounts with the same log in credentials so you can just switch companies. In your account's profile, you can edit the username and password to modify the information.

If you prefer to separate these companies, you can remove the regular QBO account as a client. Then, change a different login credential to either one of the companies.

I'll be here if you need more help with your QuickBooks accounts. Have a great day!
