How to Record 'Hours Per Week' for Fortnightly Payroll Staff in Paysuite

Hi Curious Starter-Upper,

 

If you've already set up the fortnightly pay schedule, you can edit the Hours Per Week by following these steps:

  1. On the left panel, click Employees.
  2. Click the Employees tab, then click the employee's name.
  3. Click Payment & Deductions on the left menu.
  4. Change the Normal Hours Per Week.
  5. Click Save.

Otherwise, follow these steps to create a new payroll schedule, then record the Hours Per Week:

  1. Click the Plus (+) icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Under Employees, click New Payroll.
  3. Enter the Payroll Name, and choose the Pay Frequency.
  4. Enter the Hours per Week, click Save.

How to Record 'Hours Per Week' for Fortnightly Payroll Staff in Paysuite

Let me provide a little information about recording hours for payroll in QuickBooks Online.

 

If you already set up the payroll, you can edit the employee settings and enter the hours when creating the paychecks. You can follow the detailed steps provided by my colleague above.
