How to run a report on just 1 account

Focusing on a single account allows you to gain specific insights about the transactions, balances, or trends related to that account. You can run the Transactions List by Detail account and apply filter it to display only the activity for the Contractor's expense account, Idamron.

To filter the information, follow the steps provided below:

  1. Go to the Reports section located in the left sidebar.
  2. Locate the Transaction Detail by Account report using the search bar.
  3. If you're in a modern interface, you can click the Switch to Classic view at the top for more customization options.
  4. Click Customize and navigate to the Filter section.
  5. In the Transaction Type field, choose Expense
  6. For the Distribution Account, specify the expense account tied to your contractors transactions.
  7. Click Run report.
  8. If no transactions appear, double-check the selected Report period and run the report again.

Once completed, the report will display only the specific expense account based on how you have customized the account.
