Hello @robertg11. QuickBooks defaults to the Review workflow. This setting is meant to match receipts to bank downloads. That is why the program asks you to connect your bank. To upload receipts directly, you can use the Receipt Snap feature.
The system matches receipts each time the bank downloads. To stop this, manually select a Cash account as the Payment Account. This sends a command to QuickBooks informing that the funds did not come from a linked bank feed. As a result, the app will not prompt you to connect a bank feed. To begin, here's how:
- Open the QuickBooks Online mobile app.
- Tap the Menu (≡) icon and select Receipt Snap.
- Tap the Camera icon, snap a clear photo of your cash receipt, and select Use this photo.
