I am ,moving to QBO from desktop and am trying to export my info. I'm getting an error that says I need to delete my employees in QBO I did that I still get the error

Thanks for getting this to our attention, @karenjaj,

 

The error "Before you can import this data you must sign in to QBO and delete all employees" when converting from QBDT to QBO is currently tagged as an ongoing issue. Our engineers are aware of this and are working on a fix to resolve this as soon as possible.

 

We don't have the exact turn around time on when this will be fixed. To get notified with the updates about the status of the investigation, I recommend contacting our Support Team. After your account is added to the list of affected users, you will get emails from us once a fix is available. 

 

To contact us:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu then select Contact us.
  2. Enter the keyword Account Management and Billing in the What can we help you with? box.
  3. On the next screen, scroll down to the Choose a way to connect with us section.
  4. Choose Start messaging to initiate a discussion with a live agent or Get a call for callbacks.
  5. When using the messaging option, make sure to enable pop-up windows. The chat box will appear at the bottom right section of your monitor, and an agent will be with you after filling in the information needed. See this:

 

To reach us on time, our Live Help are available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 AM til 3:00 PM on Saturdays. When you're connected to a live agent, have them add you to the investigation ticket number INV-41539.

I am having the same issue.  Deleted employees that have not been paid yet, but I still get the error.  Argh!

 

I was on the phone with support but she could not help me.  I need to pay employees and get started in the program!

We don't want you to experience this inconvenience. As an update, our product experts are still working on this investigation (INV-41539) with this issue that you have. I recommend contacting pour QuickBooks Online Support Team to add your account to the affected users. This way you will be updated with the investigation status.

 

Here's how to contact our support team:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account, then go to the Help.
  2. Select Contact us, then enter the keyword Account Management and Billing in the What can we help you with? box.
  3. On the next screen, scroll down to the Choose a way to connect with us section.
