Hi @premierimsinc1-o , you could Use "find and replace" feature in Excel to remove these three special characters: !   *   &  in your excel file. Then try to upload again in private mode browser. Comment for further assistance. Cheers.

Happy to see you here in the QuickBooks Community, premierimsinc1-o. The error you are receiving usually occurs if there is an interruption with the import process, such as an unstable internet connection or overcollection of cache files. Before we get started, double-check to make sure that your internet connection is stable.

We can do a few browsers troubleshooting steps to see if there are any cache-related issues.

Solution 1: Try logging in using private browsing. This method ensures that the browser would not store cookies, history, or data that will create a problem.

  • Google Chrome:Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Solution 2: Clear cache and cookies. Cache and cookies are forms of temporary storage that are kept on your computer to improve loading time and the track the user preferences. After a while, many page visits can cause corruption of data. So, clearing cache and cookies will remove those corruptions, allowing the page to load a clean copy. Depending on your browser, follow this article to clear those cache and cookies.

Solution 3: As gayatriluthfias20 mentioned, you can indeed use the "find and replace" feature in Excel to remove those three special characters: !  * & and try to import the information once again.

Keep me posted if you have any questions. I'll be around if you need anything. Have a great day!
