Hey there, smarkose.
Thanks for stopping by this evening, I;m happy to help you fix the alignment on your checks, follow these steps below:
Step 1: Set up printing preference
Step 2: Set up check alignment
Tip on how to align the print
Let’s say the letter K and number 5 are your current settings in the Printer setup preference. You print a sample check but the information is too:
Step 3: Print a sample paycheck
If you still need to make adjustments, then continue to repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 until you’re satisfied.
Do you need help with setting up other printing alignments? Here’s how you can set it up for checks, 1099 forms, and sales forms.
If you have any other questions, feel free to post here anytime. Thank you and have a nice afternoon.
I have followed the Quick Books instructions and my check is still not aligning correctly.
Pay to the order information is printing below the line as well as the $ numbers is
printing below the designated box. Please help me align correctly.
I had some issues with my hard drive and had a computer repair guy transfer everything
to another hard drive and now it's having this issue.
Thank you
Thank you for joining in on the thread, Rosiethecat1.
I see that my colleague, Nick_M, has already provided steps and resources for configuring the settings for check printing. At this point, I recommend contacting our QBO Support so they can check this further with more tools. They are open weekdays from 6 AM to 6 AM PT.
You can always go back to this thread if you have more questions in mind. Take care always.
