I am trying to send an invoice to my customer that I am doing freelance work for. How do I set up online payments if I am doing a freelance job and not a business?

Hi there, jazzminboo94.

 

You will have the option to select what type of entity you have (Business or Owner/Proprietor) when enrolling for QuickBooks Payments. Please follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and click Account and Settings.
  2. Proceed to the Payments tab, then click Learn more beside QuickBooks Payments.
  3. Click Finish setup, then select between Business, Owner/Proprietor, or Bank.
  4. Enter all required information and follow the next steps to activate your Payments account.
