I am trying to set up a new employee and keep receiving an error code: "Network error: Response not successful: Received status code 400" What can be done to correct?

Trying to enter new employee....The system will only allow me to enter the employee's name and email. Once I select "OK", I get an error code. I cannot move past this window to continue the set up

Hello there, @4BusPayroll. I've come to provide information about your concern.

 

Currently, there's an ongoing investigation about receiving a network error 400 when setting up an employee. To help you add the employee to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care team. Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, click the Help menu.
  2. Select the Assistant tab.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern. Example: Getting error message: "Network error: Response not successful: Received status code 400".
  4. Then, type Talk to a human.
  5. Next, choose Start a chat or Get a callback.

 

They can also link your account to the investigation so you'll be able to receive notifications and updates about the issue via email.
