I am trying to update my payment method but there is no options on the system and the system keeps crashing and no way to talk directly to somebody Please can you help

I am trying to update my payment method but there is no options on the system and the system keeps crashing and no way to talk directly to somebody Please can you help

Welcome back to the Community, @Fearn7.

 

You're using the app version of QuickBooks Online (QBO), correct? If so, you'll need to use a browser to update the payment method. The option to do it in the app is currently unavailable.

 

Here's how to do it:

 

  1. Open a browser, then log into your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon at the top right to get to the Account and Settings
  3. Select the Billing Subscription menu at the left pane, then tick the Edit (pencil) icon beside your payment method.
  4. Enter the new credit card information.
  5. Hit Confirm card or Save to complete.

On the other hand, the app may be already full of unwanted cache causing it to crash. If that's the case, I suggest resetting its data. Checking out this article and scroll down to How do I clear cache in the QuickBooks app? section for further guidance: QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac: General support.
