I am unable to access transaction journals

Hello there, @ranch3701.


It's nice to have you here in the Community. I'm here to help access your transaction journal successfully.


To start, you can access your account using a private browser or an incognito window. This help us determine if the problem has something to do with the browser you're using. To access your account using a private browser, you can use either of the following shortcut keys:


  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N  
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

If you're able to access the transaction journal using a private browser, I suggest going back to your previous browser and clear the cache. The cache is where all your internet files are saved after visiting different sites. When there's too much cache stored on your browser, it can cause odd behaviors to your QuickBooks.


After clearing the cache, open the transaction journal again. You can also use a different browser to get the reports you need. If the same thing happens, I suggest getting in touch with our Support Team to check and investigate this further for you.
