I'd like to help you connect the bank account, @usersimongibbs32.
Just to clarify, what bank are you trying to connect? Also, did you received any error prompts? There are several possible reasons why you're unable to successfully connect your bank account.
- Some banks have multiple names on our list.
- Your financial institution may not connect to all types of accounts.
- The bank may not be a participating financial institution.
Let's make sure you have the correct bank URL and then connect the account again by following these steps:
- Log in to your bank’s website outside QuickBooks.
- Review your posted transactions and check for any connectivity error notifications.
- Copy the bank's URL.
- In your QuickBooks Self-Employed account, go the Gear icon.
- Choose Bank accounts.
- Paste the URL in the Connect another bank or credit card box.
- Enter the sign-in information you use for your bank's website.
- Click the Connect securely button.
Once connected, QuickBooks will automatically download 90 - days worth of the bank transactions that you can review and categorized. Also, I've added these articles to help you manage your bank transactions:
