I changed my Quickbooks Checking password It s noit updating transactions but shows it is still connected. Can i disconnect and then reconnect without any issue?

Quickbooks checking is run by Green dot bank. When I changed my Quickbooks password it won't fetch transactions from my Quickbooks checking account. When I navigate to Link accounts its shows it is still linked. Are there any issues if I unlink and then re-link?

You don't have to disconnect and reconnect QuickBooks Checking. As an integrated product, it doesn’t require a separate bank login when linking to your QuickBooks account. Instead, you can perform a soft reset by temporarily switching off the connection to refresh the link. Here’s how:

  1. On the Bank transactions page, open the dropdown next to Link account and choose Manage connections.
  2. In the list, find QuickBooks Checking, select it, and switch the status toggle to off.
  3. When a prompt appears, confirm by choosing Disable now.
  4. After disabling, return to the Bank transactions page. When the notification banner appears, prompting you to add QuickBooks Checking, select Add account.

Once done, your checking account will be refreshed and reappear in your list of bank accounts.
