Did you get any error messages when sending the invoices? If so, can you share it with me so I can provide you the right steps in addressing the issue? 

 

For now, let's run some basic troubleshooting steps to fix the problem and send your invoices. 

 

To start, update QuickBooks Desktop to its latest release. This will help in clearing some minor data issues in your company file. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Click the Update Now tab. 
  3. Select Get Updates to start the download.
  4. When the download finishes, restart QuickBooks.
  5. Once prompted, accept the option to install the new release.

 

If you're still getting a similar result, run the verify and rebuild data tools. These tools can identify and fix the most commonly known data issues within a company file.

 

You can also run several reports to tell where your company stands. These offer critical information about your business and finances.

The message I get is check email and password. I tried your suggestions to no avail. Is there other things you can think of? your help is appreciated

Can you tell us what domain you're using when sending emails from QuickBooks? Follow the steps in this article depending on the email provider that you're using: Fix Webmail Password Issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

Aside from that, you also need to check if your antivirus is blocking the emails. Check out this article for more details: How To Fix "QuickBooks is unable to send the email since your antivirus has blocked outgoing emails"....

Let's set up again your email address to refresh the connection. 

 

There's a possibility that AOL is updating their server, and you need to update the connection. You can follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
  2. Choose Send Forms.
  3. Select WebMail or Outlook.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Fill out the Add Email Info.
  6. Use smtp.aol.com for the SMTP server and  465 or 587 for the SMTP port, then click OK.
  7. Select OK to save your changes.

Once all is done, you can send a test email. If you're still unable to email, you can consider contacting AOL to check if there's an update from their end.
