Thank you reaching the Community, eveg6-yahoo-com.

I'd like to help and make sure you get back on track.

I just tried accessing the Budgeting feature in my test account and everything looks good. You may also try accessing it through a private window on your browser. This way, we'll know if there's an underlying browser issue.

These are the shortcut keys to open a private window for your browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

If you're able to access the Budget and enter some data from there, you may now go back to your regular browser and clear its cache to fix any unusual behavior.

I'd also recommend checking this article for more information about other supported browser that works perfectly with QuickBooks Online: System requirements for QuickBooks Online, Accountant, Payroll, and QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You can click the Reply button below if you still have other questions about it. I'll be here to help. Have a good week.

It seems that budgeting isn't included in the simple start plan.  It is hard to believe that budgeting is not included in a simple plan since it is what everything in accounting emanates from and is pretty basic.  I looked up the plus or advanced versions and I think they include budgeting.  However, in all Quickbooks/Intuit marketing materials, they never mention budgeting as an area that is excluded in a lower priced version and needed to upgrade to a more expensive version.  Please confirm that this is true.

Good day, @eveg6-yahoo-com.

Thanks for getting back to us. Let me join in this conversation and answer your queries in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

What you've found is correct. The budget feature is only available for essentials, plus, and advanced subscriptions in QuickBooks.

This feature is not on the Plans & Pricing list. I can take note of this and pass it along to our marketing team. This way, they can update our page so our customers can choose which product is best suited for their business.

Moreover, you can check out the rest of the available features included for each subscription in QuickBooks on this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/

If you wish to upgrade your subscription, please check out this article for more details: How to manage your QuickBooks plan to add more or have fewer accounting features.

Should you have any follow-up questions or concerns, don't hesitate to post again here in the Community or leave a comment on this thread. Take care and have a good one.
