I created a quickbooks account and was never able to use it but have been billed monthly since September 2019. How can I get a refund and cancel the account?

I created a quickbooks account and was never able to use it but have been billed monthly since September 2019. How can I get a refund and cancel the account?

I'll give details about the charges and steps to direct you to our support team, db-hutchison89-g.

 

When your subscription is active, even if you're not using the account, you will still be charged service. To avoid this in the future, you'll want to cancel the account by following these steps:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser.
  2. Go to the Gear ⚙ and select Billing Info.
  3. Click the Cancel subscription link.

With regard to the charges, you can follow the steps below to contact our Customer Care Team. They have the necessary tools to check your account and review the charges. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Assistant located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Type or say “Talk to a human." to connect with us directly. 
  3. Select your preferred support method: Message an agent (Live chat), Call an agent, or Get a callback. Keep in mind, some options are only available at certain times.
