Hello there, @tjdbookkeeping.
Yes, there's an option where you can automatically move your data into QuickBooks Online. I'll show you how:
- Log in to your QuickBooks account.
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Choose the Billing info tab.
- Look for the Explore QuickBooks Online plans, then click it to start the upgrade.
If you don't see this option, we may need to move your data manually. We can download your QuickBooks Freelance data in a CSV file and upload them into QuickBooks Online.
Here's how:
- In your QuickBooks Freelance, choose the Transactions menu.
- Choose the transaction types, accounts, and period from the drop-down menus.
- Select the download option at the top of the transaction list.
- Save the file.
After, you can move now your file into QuickBooks Online:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- Choose the Settings menu, and then select Import Data.
- Select Bank Data.
- In the Get your info from your bank section, choose Browse.
- Look for the CSV file, click Open and then select Next.
- Choose the account in the QuickBooks Account drop-down menu and then click Next.
- After, match the statement fields from CSV with QuickBooks Online and then choose Next.
- Choose the transactions you want to move to QuickBooks Online and then click Next.
- Select Yes, then click Let's go.
Also, I've added this link where you can look for a third-party app you can use to import data into QuickBooks Online: apps.intuit.com.
Let me know if you have additional queries. I'm here to help you out. Have a great day.
