I have a 2020 version of QuickBooks desktop for Mac. I assume soon this will stop allowing me to use online banking and then it won’t be supported. I have 10 years worth of company data and the most important part is I have 10 years worth of PDF receipts and invoices attached to each transaction. My understanding is that I can’t switch to QuickBooks online because it won’t import my attachment library and connect all of those attachments to the transactions.
I only use QuickBooks on a very basic level. I would like to continue using the desktop version on my Mac. But I’m not seeing any reasonable solution for that.
My advice remains the same.
But now I can’t even find a new version of QuickBooks desktop for Mac. The only thing I see is some premier version for $799. Everything else is QuickBooks online.

Hello there, @Electrician.
I'll join this thread and ensure you can achieve your goal of migrating from QuickBooks Desktop Mac to QuickBooks Online.
Yes, you're right that you're unable to include the attachments in the moving process. However, you can still attach those PDFs to your transactions manually. Otherwise, I suggest looking for an app that integrates with QuickBooks from the QuickBooks Apps Center.
