I have a critical issue with my Bank of America connection. QuickBooks automatically synced my accounts, but it incorrectly merged data from debit and credit cards

QuickBooks automatically synced my accounts, but it incorrectly merged data from two different sources: my Business Debit Card transactions are showing up inside my Credit Card account in QuickBooks. This has caused a major mess in my books. I need you to: 1. Identify why the sync is pulling data into the wrong ledger. 2. Help me separate these transactions without losing my existing categorization for the correct credit card entries. 3. Fix the connection so that Debit (Account ending in xxxx) and Credit (Account ending in xxxx) stay separate. Please escalate this to a technical specialist who can look at the bank feed mapping.

It doesn't work that way.  You can't just request that kind of help here.  You have to actually contact QB.

Use the Help (The question mark at the top of your QBO Page) to start a chat or request a call.

Hello Krukegor-a, I understand how concerning it is to see transactions from your debit card incorrectly appearing in your credit card ledger.

To ensure all your requests are fully addressed. I suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks phone support team directly to take a closer look at the connection between your accounts.

You can do so by navigating to the Help section, selecting the Search tab, and typing "contact support." Click Contact Us, choose your preferred method, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect with a representative.
