I have been asked to create an "Order Confirmation". How do you do this please

Hi there, user83197.

I'm glad to see you posting here in QuickBooks Community.

Currently, there's no option to directly create an Order confirmation in QuickBooks Online. You can only send your customers an invoice to add what you sell and email it to your customer.

Here's how:

  1. Select the  + New icon.
  2. Choose Invoice.
  3. From Customer dropdown, select a customer. Make sure all of their info is correct, especially their email address.
  4. Review the Invoice date. If you need to, change the due date in the Terms dropdown.
  5. From the Product/Service column, select a product or service. You can also select +Add new to create a new product or service right from the invoice.
  6. Enter a quantity, rate, and change amount if needed.
  7. When you're ready, hit Save and send.

For additional information, you can click this article: Create invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Also, QuickBooks can integrate with hundreds of apps. With this, you can go to the App center inside QuickBooks. Then look for a compatible app that can help you create an Order Confirmation.

Here's how:

  1. Click Apps in the left navigation menu.
  2. Click the Browse Category drop-down menu, select Sync Data.
  3. Select the app you want to integrate.
  4. Click Get App Now and complete the following on-screen instructions.

If you don't see a specific app in QuickBooks Online, I'd suggest looking for other 3rd-party software that's supported.

I'd also recommend visiting our Online Blog so you'll be updated with the features and enhancements that our developers are currently working on.

Please refer to this article to see steps on how to personalize your sales forms and add the information about your business: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Keep in touch if you need any more assistance with this, or there's something else I can do for you. I've got your back. Have a good day!
