We haven't received any reports when logging into their accounts. That said, let's identify why you're unable to log in to QuickBooks. 

 

To start with, let's open QuickBooks on a private window. This is where to determine if the concern you've been experiencing is caused by a browser-related issue. You can use these keyboard shortcut to open one:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

 

If it works, you can go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. A piled cache can also be the reason for some unexpected issues on the pages we've opened.

 

You can also switch to a different browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.

 

If the same thing happens, I'd suggest getting in touch with our Phone Support team. Also, it's possible that you're not able to set a callback that's why we're unable to call you back. 

 

Here's how to set a callback:

 

  1. From the ? Help icon, click Contact Us.
  2. Enter I cannot log in as your keyword.
  3. Click Let's talk.
  4. Select the Get a callback option.

The chat NEVER responds for me, either.  Your best bet is to request a call back, instead.  However, they have limited people, and times.  I believe it is 6am-6pm PST.

I am unable to get into my account, inorder to update my info. and password.I tried every pasword I have listed in my office. Even the ID or user name too. Help me.

Let's access your account using a private browser or an incognito browser. This is to isolate your login concerns for possible browser-related. You can use these keyboard shortcut to open one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

To help you recover your account and update your password, here's how:

  1. On the Sign In page, click on the I forgot my user ID or Password link.

  2. Enter the phone number, email or user ID, and hit Continue to proceed.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
  4. Please know the password reset link is active for 24 hours.
