I use 2019 Quickbooks Enterprise desktop edition and I never had this problem until now.
I installed quickbooks on a new computer. I copied over backups and the main company file. I opened the company file on the new computer, no problems. A few days went by, then one day I tried to open quickbooks and got an error that said my company file could not be opened. I exited, reloaded quickbooks and tried again. Still got the error, the company file did not load. There was no error code associated with the error.
I rebooted the computer and sometimes I was able to open the company file, and sometimes I was not. When I was not, I reloaded a backup copy. Sometimes the backup would load fine, sometimes It would not open and I get the cannot open company file error.
So I uninstalled quickbooks, rebooted my computer, and reinstalled quickbooks. sometimes the company file would load, sometimes not.
I am running windows 10, there is plenty of HD space and memory on this laptop.
I tried running the Quickbooks Fix program or whatever it is called and it did not work.
I am running quickbooks on only one computer and not sharing the company file and no multiple users
Of course I cannot keep having this happen, any ideas? I have run verify, rebuild, etc on the file. sometimes the verify finds a problem and fixes.
I believe I have tried everything. Can't have the company file unreadable at random times and cannot make backups every 30 seconds.
Any help will be awesome!!!

Contact Support and ask Data Service to fix it. Otherwise you may need another evaluation from a 3rd party service provider.
