- Have you made any recent changes to your company's EIN?
- Are all your clients using the same computer to run Payroll?
- Can you provide me a screenshot of the error message you're getting?
After you provide a bit more details, I can give you steps that will fix the error code and allow you to rerun your Payroll. In the meantime, I suggest opening QuickBooks in a private window. This will allow your web browser to run a new page that doesn't gather cache and cookies. Once the page is open, you'll want to try running Payroll again to see if the message still occurs. If it works, then you'll need to clear your cache and cookies to ensure QuickBooks doesn't generate the code again.
