You'll have to recreate the deleted reconciled transaction and manually change its status, eschaefer1.
Deleting or editing a reconciled transaction affects the ending balance of your last reconciliation, which in turn alters the beginning balance of the next reconciliation. To fix this, you'll need to recreate the transaction. You can use the Audit Log as a reference to access the transaction's details.
After recreating the deleted transaction, we changed its status back to reconciled to keep our books organized. Follow the steps below:
- Go back to your Chart of accounts and open the bank register.
- Locate the transaction and click on it to expand the view.
- In the checkmark column, select the box or keep clicking until an R appears.
- Click Save and Yes to confirm.
