If you're referring to your payroll services not activated when downgrading your software, we can re-enter the service key in QuickBooks. This will activate your payroll subscription in the software and let you run payroll transactions in your software. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click Employees on the menu.
  2. Select Payroll and select Enter Service Key.
  3. If you have an existing payroll subscription, you are prompted to specify if you want to add this file to your payroll subscription.Select Skip to go to the Service Key window, or Add File to add this file to an existing Payroll subscription.
  4. Select Add.
  5. Enter the service key, and select Next. A confirmation message appears.
  6. Select Finish.
