You're right. The options when creating a budget in QuickBooks Desktop are Create budget from scratch and Create budget from previous year's actual data.
I also believe that being able to create budget using the current's year data would help customers plan and make better decisions for their business.
I've passed your thoughts to our Product Developers so they’ll consider adding this option. I'd appreciate it if you could also send this as feedback to our product engineers. Your input would be a big help in getting this implemented.
