Hi there, @GNA.

Let’s update the sign-in credentials of your bank. It can help restore the connection.

Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) bases the information sent by your Bank Institution. There's no exact time frame on when your bank account will work and sync bank feeds to QuickBooks. It could be the Yorkshire Bank is having a maintenance update on their end. I'd suggest contacting them and verify any news. Also, you can log in to your bank's website and check if there are notifications that need your attention.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and then choose Banking.
  2. It will open the Bank and Credit Cards page.
  3. From there, select your bank and then hit the Pencil icon to display the Edit sign-in info menu.
  4. Then, click on it to open the Sign in to account window.
  5. Input the login details in the Banking Userid and Banking Password fields.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

If the issue persists, you can import your bank transactions in the meantime to your QBO account. Let me show you how:

  1. Log in to your bank website and select the date range of transactions you want.
  2. Select an approved file type to convert transaction data to.
  3. Save the transaction file to your computer.
  4. Log into QuickBooks Online.
  5. Go the Banking tab and choose Upload.
  6. Under Browse select your transaction file.

I'll add this article to know more details in importing your bank transaction in QBO: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, once you'll get the transactions under the For Review tab and able to match, add, and categorize them in QuickBooks Online.

Please feel free to get back here whenever you have other concerns. I'll be around to help. Take care and keep safe!

I need to know when my bank account will work with Quickbooks again - I bank with Yorkshire bank, its been 88 days now and getting silly that there is no solution?

That worked - a big relief

Just a bit of feedback - I never received a notification from quickbooks that my bank was now able to sync again after the changes to UK banking rules and whenever I clicked on the 'update' button in bank accounts it said it still wasn't resolved.

Anyway it does now and we are back up and running so pleased with that outcome!

Thanks
