I select the customer's name during sales order entry but the customer's name does not appear on the printed version of the sales order. How do I add the customer name?

Currently, our system does not have the functionality to directly include the name on the printed version of sales orders, Jturk.

In the meantime, you can manually add the customer’s name in the notes section of the sales order before printing.

Moreover, I recommend sending feedback directly to our Product Development team. It helps them identify the necessary features that are currently missing, such as automatically including a customer's name on printed sales orders.

To submit a request:

  1. On the Sales Order page, tap the Give Feedback at the top of the section.
  2. Enter your suggestions, then submit.

To learn how to modify and include particular details on your sales forms. Check out this article: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
