I sold my business so I want to end my QBO subscription but want to keep access for 2024 tax reporting. Is there a way to keep access without paying the monthly fee?

Do I lose access to history when I cancel my subscription?

Hi there, Ron.

Yes, you can keep access to your QBO account after canceling your subscription.

When you cancel a QuickBooks Online account, you'll be able to view your data in a read-only format for one year. After that year, you'll need to resubscribe to regain access to your data.

If you need to resubscribe, feel free to check out this article: Resubscribe or reactivate.

@ron135

Another option, convert your data to a QB Desktop file and you can use the trial version to access your historical data for good.
