I tried reconnecting a credit card account but it keeps telling me "the specified url cannot be found"

Hi there, choicesidinghele.

 

Let me help you reconnect your credit card account in QuickBooks.

 

This error can be fixed by making sure you use the correct URL from your bank's website. I'd be glad to walk you through the steps on how to do it.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the Add account button.
  3. Log in to your bank website, copy the URL at the top of screen, then paste into the Enter your bank name or URL search box.
  4. Manually enter your User Id or Login Id and password for the financial institution website and select Continue.
  5. Complete the extra security verification steps and select Securely connect.
  6. Select the bank emblem to the left of the account that you want to connect and select the Account type drop-down menu to your credit card account.
  7. Click Connect.
