Hi there, Ray. If you want to link your Venmo credit card to QuickBooks Solopreneur for tracking business expenses and preparing for your 1099, Venmo may not appear as a direct connection option yet.
If you’d like to request support for it, you can go to Transactions > Link account, search for Venmo, and submit a request from there. This helps our team track demand for additional connections.
In the meantime, you can manually upload your transactions by going to Transactions > Upload transactions and importing a CSV file from your Venmo account. Once uploaded, you can review and categorize them as business or personal.
As for your 1099, QuickBooks Solopreneur uses the transactions you mark as business-related to help organize your records. It’s also a good idea to work with your accountant to ensure your categories are mapped correctly for tax reporting.
Uploading and categorizing your transactions ensures your expenses are tracked accurately, making your tax preparation more organized and easier to manage.
