Let's take care of your subscriptions, zidekart1.

The steps to cancel your subscription depend on how you purchase or subscribe to it. You can follow the detailed instructions in this link: Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription.

After cancelling your subscription, your data will remain in our system for a year. You can resubscribe within the said period if you want to access again your accounting data. Otherwise, it will be deleted permanently.

You can always get back to us if you have additional questions regarding your subscription.

This did not really answer my question. I wanted to know if I keep the turbo tax of the bundle to do my 2020 taxes when I cancel my subscription to quick books Jan1, 2021.

Yes, we'll keep your TurboTax account if you cancel the bundle subscription, zidekart1.

As mentioned by my colleague above, you have one year to access your TurboTax data when you cancel the plan. You can resubscribe when it's time to file your return.

I'm adding this article in case you want to change your plan: Downgrade from the Tax Bundle to QuickBooks Self-Employed only.

Stay in touch with me if you need additional information about the process above. I'm always right here to help you.

Neither of the responses answer the original question.

I too am curious to know if I cancel my quickbooks self employed bundle (that includes free tax filing for federal and state on turbotax) on Jan 1st 2023, if this will still include the free tax filing when I file my taxes in 2023. Does anyone know?

Hello there, KoJack.

I'm here to clear up your confusion about canceling your bundled subscription concern.

Since it's a bundled subscription, that could only mean canceling it would include your free tax filing in 2023.

Here's an article for detailed instructions on canceling your subscription: Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I'll be here to keep helping if you have other questions in QuickBooks.
