I want to SPEAK not chat with a human being

I want a call back on a priority basis.  I do not care how long a "Golden Girls" episode is.

I want to speak with someone.

Hello, Customerswantpeoplecontact.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out here in the Community. I'd like to share some info so you're able to get connected with a member of the Support Team.

There are a couple of ways to contact an agent so you can get the assistance you need. This can be done by:

1. Clicking the Help menu.

2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.

3. Select Contact Us located at the bottom of the Help Panel.

4. Enter a simple description of the issue you're having and click Continue.

5. From here if you choose talk with a specialist it will allow  you to schedule a time and date for an agent to call you. In the future, if you need to speak with someone you can use the same steps to reach out to us in the Community or via Messaging.

This article covers the details on how to communicate with your support team: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Getting-Started/Contact-the-QuickBooks-Desktop-Customer-Supp....

Wishing you the best. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

RE: There are a couple of ways to contact an agent so you can get the assistance you need. This can be done by:

- Piling on an answer after mine isn't really helpful.

- You mention one way. What's the other way?

Updating your billing information is easy which you can do it on your own, kathyk.

You can manage your Intuit subscriptions through the Customer Account Maintenance Portal (CAMPS). Here are the quick steps to update your payment method:

  1. Go to and log in to this link using your Intuit account credentials: http://camps.intuit.com/.
  2. In the Product & Services list, look for the app or subscription.
  3. Select Details and go to the Billing Information section.
  4. Look for the Payment Method and click Edit.
  5. Update the billing information and select Save and Close.

Here's also a quick video tutorial in doing this: Manage Your QuickBooks Desktop Account with CAMPs (Customer Account Management Portal).

That'll keep your account updated and prevent account issues in the future. Have a great day!

Thank you for posting here in the Community, Mimi.

I'm here to help you fix this incorrect calculation on QuickBooks Desktop.

If an employee's paycheck has an incorrect state unemployment insurance (SUI) or state withholding (SIT) amount, it's usually caused by incorrect employee state tax or payroll item setup.

To calculate correctly on a paycheck, you must correct any error in the setup before creating a new paycheck.

Before that, we need to check if you're using an updated QuickBooks Desktop and Tax Table. This is to ensure that you have the latest fixes, patches, and stay compliant with paycheck calculations. For the detailed steps, check these links:

Once done, If you're getting an error, you'll need to verify the following to find the cause.

  1. Verify state taxes set up for the employee in the Employee Profile
  2. Verify the SUI rate in QuickBooks Desktop
  3. Determine whether the employee reached the SUI wage base limit
  4. Verify the setup for payroll items used on the employee's paycheck.

For more insights, read through this article to learn about the troubleshooting of the incorrect state unemployment (SUI) or withholding (SIT) on paychecks.

You can also visit these articles that will help you determine the source of payroll tax calculation errors: QuickBooks Desktop calculates wages and/or payroll taxes incorrectly.

You're always welcome to come back in the comment section if you have other questions. I'd be happy to answer them. Take care.
