Thank you for posting here in the Community. I can share some clarification about how you can contact support in QuickBooks.

 

You can use the Get a callback feature to speak to our support. For this option to be visible, you'll need to enter your concern first in the "What can we help you with?" box and click Let's talk.

 

In case you need the steps, here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu at the upper right. 
  2. Choose Contact Us
  3. Enter your specific concern in the What can we help you with? box. 
  4. Click Let's talk
  5. Select Get a callback
  6. Enter your contact information. 
  7. Choose Confirm my call or Send message.

Our Customer Support Team is available from 6 AM - 6 PM PT (Monday - Friday) and 6 AM - 3 PM PT (Saturday).

You probably have the new Help menu interface, @abgarage.

 

With the new Help menu or QB Assistant, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account, then go to the (?) Help icon.
  2. Choose the Talk to a human option (then type it again when prompted).
  3. When asked by the bot, type in a short description of your concern.
  4. Select I still need a human.
  5. Proceed with Contact us.
  6. Click Let’s talk then choose either Get a callback or Start messaging

I have an overpayment, it wont let me pay my taxes.

Thanks for joining in this thread, @tkc1. I'm here to help you resolve tax overpayment so you can pay your taxes. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Taxes tab, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Select Pay Taxes to check the overpayment. Overpayments appear as negative amounts.
  3. Click the Resolve overpayment button next to the negative amount, then select if applicable: 
    • Apply to a future tax payment (recommended): Your overpayment will be applied to the next liability period.
    • Request a refund - Select this option if you prefer to get a refund. Note that you still need to contact the IRS or state agency to get the actual refund.

 

Once done, select Mark as Resolved. You will be prompted that your payroll info is updated. Then, select Contact tax agency for the next steps to complete the task.

Need help with vacation time tracking

I'd be happy to help with your vacation time tracking concern.

 

If you'd want to track vacation time in your QuickBooks Online, you'll need first to set up a time off policy for the employee. 

 

Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. In the left menu, click Payroll
  2. Go to the Employees tab.
  3. Locate and double click the employee's name. 
  4. Go to the Pay section and click the ✎ icon.
  5. In the How much do you pay [employee]? section, select Edit ✎.
  6. Choose Vacation Pay.
  7. Enter hours per year and Maximum allowed hours (optional).
  8. Select OK.
  9. Click Done twice.

I am getting an 6123,0 error code and I downloaded Quickbooks Tool Hub and it will not open. I need to access Quickbooks right away.

Why can't I find a number to actually talk to someone? Ive already been working on this issue for over an hour and I this is very frustrating.

  1. Close your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) software.
  2. Download our QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to install.
  5. When the install finishes, open the tool hub on your Windows desktop.
  6. Select Program Problems.
  7. Click Quick Fix my Program.
  8. Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.

Option 1

  1. Click the Help icon.
  2. Hit the Contact Us button at the bottom. 
  3. Enter your concern in the description, then click Let's talk or Continue.
  4. Select Get a callback.

Option 2

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Click Get help from a human or Contact Support Team.
  5. Select between Send a messageSchedule an appointment, or Get a callback.

If you are being double-charged with the $299.00 amount, we can go to the Account & Billing Subscription page to see the details of it. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Accounts and Settings.
  3. On the left panel, click the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. Look for the View Payment History link and click it.

 

The payment history will only display for the last six months of your billing. Also, you can view your statement the day after the billing date to verify the charge. Then, cancel the Intuit service that you don't need in the Account & Billing Subscription page.
