I was attempting to progress bill from an invoice. I got a spinning wheel, and eventually a screen popped up saying something was wrong. I can't go any further....

I was attempting to progress bill from an invoice. I got a spinning wheel, and eventually a screen popped up saying something was wrong. I can't go any further....

I've got some steps we can perform to get this sorted out for you to progress your bill from an invoice, bunzai1.

 

Let's try updating QuickBooks Desktop for Mac to the latest release. This helps us improve the software functionality and fix any issues while using the product.

 

Let me show you how:

 

  1. Go to QuickBooks drop-down menu, then select Check for QuickBooks Updates.
  2. Choose Install Update if a newer version is available. 
  3. Tap Install and Relaunch. Then, your software will automatically open once the update is complete. 

You can also uninstall and reinstall it to download the latest version. Just follow the steps and details in this article: Update QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. Then, go to the Manual update section. 

 

If the same thing happens, try verifying and rebuilding your data to fix any damaged components in the program. When there's a damaged data in your file, it prevents you from progressing the bill from an invoice.
