I was chatting with someone and now lost the chat this is very frustrating

No worries, @anita-barker. You can still connect with our chat support.

In QuickBooks, reaching out to our live representative is always been easy. You only need to click the Help icon and select Contact us. A random agent will be connected to you. Once your account has been pulled up, they can review your chat history and pick up where you left off. You can also request to reconnect to the previous agent with who you lost the chat. 

Let me walk you through the process:

1. Click the Help menu at the top, and then select QuickBooks Desktop Help. 
2. Hit Contact Us.
3. Enter a brief description of your issue, for example: Lost the chat support window. 
4. Tap Let's talk. 
5. Choose Start a chat.
