If you use your vehicle only for business, you can deduct the whole cost. But if it’s mixed use, it can only deduct the business-related expenses.
QBSE calculates mileage using the standard deduction method, and when filing taxes, TurboTax or your accountant can help determine the best method for you.
Categorizing vehicle expenses in QuickBooks allows you to track specific costs and mileage, which are reflected in the financial reports under vehicle expenses.
