If you switch from direct deposit to check and you select enter manually (all info is there already) why won't QB let you save?

Contractor has rec'd dd in past but requested switch to checks. No change to info, full info provided. Manual option tried, submit/save not active.

If you switch from direct deposit to check and you select enter manually (all info is there already) why won't QB let you save?

Browser-related problems, including data overload, can prevent the system from saving your recent modifications, Kristi.

This could also lead to certain buttons being grayed out, even when you've provided all the required details.

To help you successfully update the contractor's payment method, let's work through some troubleshooting steps.

Let's start by adding Intuit as a trusted site.

Then, you'll need to remove your browser's cached data and any cookies related to Intuit. For detailed instructions specific to the browser you're using, check out this guide: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks.

After taking those steps, restart your browser. Then, log back into QuickBooks to check if you can now click the Save button and successfully save the changes.

Feel free to use this article in case you need to do this task in the future: Void or cancel contractor payments.
