Another user may have created a ghost expense that offsets the deposit transaction in your bank register, Chuck.
Regarding the ghost expense, are you referring to an expense transaction or a refund transaction? Either of the two can cause an offset to the payment deposit in your register. It's possible that a user created this transaction. You may run the Audit log to see who that might be.
Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Select Audit log.

- Use the User, Date Changed, or Events columns to narrow the results.
