Interest from all accounts showing on Profit and Loss Report

Why is the interest showing for all accounts with I run the Profit/Loss Report?  I customize the report to just show information for one account, but it doesn't seem to matter.

I can share some with your some information about the Profit and Loss report in QuickBooks Desktop.

Interest expense/income is one of the core expenses/income found the your profit and loss report. You can exclude the interest when customizing the report.

Here's how:

  1. In report screen, click the Customize Report.
  2. Go to Filters tab.
  3. Search and select the Account.
  4. Click the drop-down arrow and click Multiple accounts.
  5. Search and select the appropriate.
