International QB Desktop Transfer

I have a QB Desktop license on that I need to transfer to a staff person in the Philippines. Is it possible to do that without having to download to a USB drive and physically mailing it to her?

I appreciate the time you've taken posting this in the Community. I can share some information on how to transfer your license to another location.

 

You have the option to download the program online on the new computer without saving it to a hard drive. All you need to do is provide your license and product numbers to the staff. Here's how to download and install QuickBooks:

 

  1. Go to the Downloads & Updates page to get the download link.
  2. Enter your CountryProduct,and Version.
  3. Click the Search button.
  4. Tap the Download button.
  5. Once the download is complete, the installation will automatically start. If it doesn't, double click the installer file to proceed.
  6. Select Yes to All the hit Next.
  7. Mark the Software License Agreement then click Next.
  8. Enter the License and Product numbers, then hit Next.
  9. Pick the type of installation you want.
  10. Choose where you want to save QuickBooks.
  11. Pick a new install location or select Next to install to the default directory.
  12. Click Install.

Before installing the software, be sure to check our QuickBooks Desktop system requirements to avoid compatibility issues with the location. Also, please note that QuickBooks Desktop requires updating the Windows regional settings to the local version of QuickBooks that you are using. You may refer to this article for the steps: Change regional settings in Windows

 

Additionally, if you're permanently transferring the license to your staff, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Support to add him/her to your account. Here's how to contact us:

 

  1. Go to the QuickBooks Home Page, then tap the Help menu.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click the Contact us button.

That should get you pointed to our live support agent who can check your Intuit account.
